Education Research CoordinatorOur client is an independent educational research organization seeking a full-time Education Research Coordinator who will support the collection and analysis of data about student learning in STEM.
Our client is partnering with various offices in Chicago Public Schools to improve the quality of student STEM experiences and enable the school district to provide better supports for teachers.Responsibilities: Engage in systematic processes for collecting, inputting data Communicate with teachers Travel to Chicago area schools to collect data Prepare data collection materials Participate in scoring student/teacher responses Work effectively with a variety of staff and partners on multiple projectsQualifications: Bachelor’s degree – recent grads encouraged to apply Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Competency in general productivity software (e.G., Microsoft Office, Google suite) Interest in Education, Social and Community involvement is a huge plus Access to a car to travel throughout the Chicago area (reimbursed at IRS mileage rate).
Demonstrated ability as a team player, willingness to pitch in and do what needs to be done Employment is contingent on passing the CPS background check and CITI certificationThis is a full-time position that reports to senior leadership.
