– 20-40 hours per weekDepartment: Youth and Family ServicesReports To: Youth and Family Services DirectorFLSA Status: Nonexempt, 12-month positionWork Schedule: 9-3 Monday-Thursday (20 hours w/ benefits)Salary Grade: 2B ($9.91-$11.29-$12.672/hr.Approved Date: 11-15-19SUMMARYPerforms general retail store duties and responsibilities to include sorting and displaying donated merchandise in the Clothes Room by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Labre’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.Must possess excellent customer service skills.Greets customer and assists in finding merchandise desired.Answers phone and take messages.Operates cash register and reconciles money at the end of the day.Maintains an accurate Master List of volunteers and tracks each participant’s hours.Maintains volunteer lists, distribution lists, and clothes room requests.Makes copies for the Clothes Room.
Runs errands as assigned.Provides the Donor Relations staff on a daily basis with information regarding the merchandise so donations can be acknowledged.Saves new items throughout the year for children’s & elder Christmas gifts, St.
Labre, St.
Charles, and Pretty Eagle Schools.Saves items for holidays: Halloween, Easter, Veteran’s Day.Assists in filling special order requests from youth group home staff, teachers, elders, church, nurse, and other requesting persons. Forwards items to other departments that may be of use to them.Displays merchandise on rack for sale.Hang clothes on hanger.
Makes sure store is presentable to public at all times.Receives payment for merchandise and counts change back to customer if applicable.Submits sales proceeds to the Finance Department on a daily basis.Wraps or bags merchandise for customers.Assures clothes room is neat and clean.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNoneQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
