POSITION SUMMARY:This role will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to all parties with focus on supporting domestic shipments.

Performs analyses of organization and customer needs to ensure cost efficient and timely delivery of product.

Preferred candidates are those which have experience creating, coordinating, and managing domestic/international supply chains relative to warehousing and transportation.

The right candidate will need to have a global forward-thinking mindset.

They will need to influence and engage cross-functional teams, meet deadlines, and have the determination to persevere through potential blocks.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinates and monitors workflow, assisting in scheduling and prioritizing activities in assigned logistic areaTracking and tracing of all freight movementAssist management with network distribution optimizationAssist with the standardization of logistics operationsParticipate in/lead projects to improve service to customers and reduce/control costs.Identify problems, recommend, and execute creative/innovative solutions.Collaborate across various geographical sites with various departments including operations to obtain and analyze data for proforma supply chain modelsUtilize Danaher Business System and other continuous improvement methodologies to drive sustainable resultsReport metrics and manage KPIs, data analysis and reporting, and other duties as assignedMaintains compliance with ISO 9000, IATA, OSHA, DOT, FAA, and FDA Guidelines TRAINING RESPONSIBILITIES:Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Education and Experience:High School degree with 2-4 years of related work experience ORAA or Technical Trade degree with 1-2 years of related work experience Knowledge and skills:Solid understanding of warehouse and transportation operations national and/or international basisAbility to effectively communicate and collaborate across different operating companies, departments, and cultures.Familiarity with continuous improvement and lean operationsWorking Knowledge of ERP system, such as SAP (HANA) Physical requirements/abilities:Must be able to lift 25 lb.Must be able to stand for several hoursAbility to work in warehouse type environment PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:4+ years of Logistics Experience (Transportation & Warehousing experience)Strong understanding of supply chain management, including procurement, manufacturing,warehousing, and transportationCertified in Dangerous Goods requirements for DOT, IATA, IMDG.Related experience in a diagnostic, medical device, or pharmaceutical environment The statements in this description represent typical elements, criteria and general work performed.
