Associate Research Technologist Product Development White Plains, NY W2 Contract: 6 months; leave coverage Up to $37.46/hour Job Details : The Associate Research Technologist for product development will support the Product Developers and Associate Product Developers on product development projects for branded and private label business.
Qualifications : Under graduate or Bachelors Degree (Food science or microbiology) Must be proactive and have strong logic skills Manual dexterity, desire and ability to perform benchwork ensuring 100% food safety and no contamination Highly reliable in his/her tasks Ability to learn and apply Good Manufacturing Practices to assure food safety of prototypes executed Computer skills (MS Office).
Organizational skills Ability to work autonomously under clear directions Ability to communicate effectively Responsibilities: Support product developers in the design, industrial implementation and launch follow up of products renovation for cost optimization purpose.
Execute benchtop work eg fruit mixing.
Set up tasting session for the team and collect feed back.
Collect and analyze data (basic statistical treatment) from pilot, industrial trials, and launch follow up Coordinates logistics for raw material and samples delivery/acquisition Support ingredient and finished product and process documentations (specifications, food safety documents,), as well as nutrition facts labeling data entry in system, specifications routing for approval, etc.
