The robust group is composed of supportive individuals who have a passion for research.

The group continues to expand and grow, taking on more trials and enrolling more patients into clinical trials.

Employees are hired and responsibilities are delegated based on individual interests and skills.The research group has not only been successful locally, but also nationally.

ATC serves as the lead cardiovascular (CV) research department, having formed a CV research affinity group.

The national affinity group works to connect all CV research sites across Ascension to network as one clinical research organization, growing Ascension clinical research experience and presence while improving site efficiency and effectiveness while participating in clinical trials.Complexity of Work:Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.What You Will Do:Coordinates administrative and clinical aspects of multiple research projects.Collaborates with primary investigator, sponsor and research staff to plan, conduct and evaluate projectprotocols.

Monitors and reports on progress of projects.Assists with the recruitment, selection, scheduling, and monitoring of research project participants.Manages the handling of adverse events, compliance and other participant-related issues.Coordinates the preparation and delivery of departmental communications, presentations andmarketing/educational materials.Assist with the preparation, submission and management of internal/external compliance documentation at all stages of the research project.Assist with the selection, education, testing, and monitoring of research project participants.

Follow protocols and collaborates with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of participant care.Document patient care and study results using appropriate formats and systems.

Communicate patient/study results on an on-going basis to research team.Participate in quality assurance/improvement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with applicable standards of care and regulatory requirements.What You Will Need:Licensure / Certification / Registration:Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.Education:Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR a bachelor’s level degree not in nursing, an active RN License, and enrolled in an Alternate Entry Masters of Science in Nursing Program with a minimum of 1 year in the program completed.Additional Preferences:No additional preferences.Why Join Our Team:Ascension Seton, based in Austin, Texas, has provided thousands of associates and caregivers a rewarding career in healthcare since 1902.
