Accounts Payable Clerk

ITAC Solutions is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for a growing company in Birmingham, AL area. This person must be detailed oriented and possess the ability to work with accuracy and efficiency.

What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):

• Ensure the timely and accurate entry of all invoices and vendor information
• Support the accounting department by performing daily financial transactions
• Verify and record accounts payable data
• Generate and review expense reports
• Perform data entry and other clerical responsibilities
• Maintain accurate account payable files
• Reconcile general ledger, research and correct discrepancies
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are current

What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):

• 2+ years of full-cycle accounts payable processing experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite  
• Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or a relevant field
