POSITION SUMMARY The Workflow Orchestration Developer monitors and modifies the workflow orchestration engines. This position is involved in keeping these systems operating and making necessary changes to protect against system outages. This position is also responsible for making improvements and recommendations for projects and requests related to workflow orchestration engines and the adjoining software to ensure continued operation while improving user and system efficiencies. Day to day responsibilities will include: creating and updating workflow orchestration engine systems’ settings and rules, writing Java and JavaScript code, creating and updating system to system APIs, updating documentation, and ensuring that projects and requests remain in scope and on time. The Workflow Orchestration Developer will also resolve mid to upper level workflow orchestration engine issues. They will also work with other departments to create and validate new applications, functions, and create solutions for issues in services and software.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Write and maintain API driven integrations with multiple applications • Create and enhance ongoing business operations, projects, system releases and compliance/regulatory changes for the workflow orchestration engine using APIs and other coding structures • Monitor the workflow orchestration engine integrations for issues and problems and design solutions • Create programs, processes, and integrations to expand and maintain the workflow orchestration engines • Ensure updates and corrections are well documented and easily understood • Perform code review and system testing as requested • Release updates and corrections in accordance with posted release schedules • Ensure that all project documents are safely kept and accessible for future reference • Carry out routine testing of software patches • Complete special tasks as assigned by manager as needed or required

TECHNICAL SKILLS • MS Office Suite 2013 and greater o Excel o Word o Outlook o PowerPoint o MS SharePoint o Visio • Workflow Orchestration Engine o Appian o Other Workflow Orchestration Engines • Coding in Java and JavaScript
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE • 5+ years of workflow orchestration engine experience • A-score level 2 or above Appian Certification preferred • Advanced Java and JavaScript coding experience • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Will consider commensurate work experience in lieu of degree • 3+ years mortgage lending experience preferred • Preferred: o Ellie Mae Encompass experience o Appian Citizen Developer experience
