Responsibilities Join a team of developers to research, implement, and test solutions in the areas of networking and machine learning for mixed wired and wireless networks. Co-Op Interns typically represent college students trying to gain related work experience while pursuing an undergraduate degree. Under direct supervision, performs various tasks and assignments for the organizationaposs professional staff in such disciplines as Engineering, Software Development, Database Management, Security Threat Analysis. Qualifications Graduate student with a BS degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering. Minimum Strong software skills (including Linux and Android) and experience in software development (CC++, Python) Strong Linux system administration skills (containers, overlay network and routing configuration) Familiarity with discrete event network simulators (experience with ns-3 will be a plus) Strong written and spoken communication skills US citizen Telework About Perspecta What matters to our nation, is what matters to us.
