Web Developer Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local What You’ll Get to Do: As a Member of a small AGILE development team you’ll be working with HTML5, middleware, Angular JS, Bootstrap, CSS, and MS SQL Server to develop business applications in support of a government customer. The Developer will work closely with customers to define requirements, implement business logic and refine applications. This position will also require providing support and troubleshooting to issues with production applications. Additional responsibilities include: * Develop custom web applications in an AGILE methodology using HTML5, CSS, Angular JS, Bootstrap, middleware, MS SQL Server to solve customer business problems * Leverage knowledge of programming and server software operations
* Create web front-end user interface to new or existing databases using a combination of HTML, SQL, CSS, JavaScript, or other languages
* Formulate or define system requirements to develop or modify complex systems and web applications and work flow process applications, task tracking systems, knowledge management and content delivery websites and general web application portals
* Developer will design, develop, unit test, debug, document, and maintain program code
* Leverage general knowledge of web technologies (e.g. browsers, web servers, database servers, DNS, etc.) and their interrelationships. * Utilize communication and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot user’s issues. You’ll Bring These Qualifications: * Typically requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent and three to five years of related experience
* Knowledge of web development principals, techniques, and languages, standard programming styles and conventions
* Familiarity with web design and editing tools such as Adobe Dreamweaver
* Experience with basic web programming languages such as HTML, JavaScript, & CSS
* Requires knowledge of web to database concepts and T-SQL
* MS Windows based including IIS, XP, NT, Vista, 7,8
* Basic graphic software such as Adobe Fireworks, Photoshop, or CorelDraw
* Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills
