Position Overview: Online marketing & development involves teamwork to create and deploy highly efficient online marketing programs, including blogs, email campaigns, social media, SEO, and online advertising.Website programmer experienced in coding and languages. We require good communication, organizational skills, and a team attitude. The position maintains existing sites and builds future sites. Web Developer must stay current with web standards and trends.Key Responsibilities: Quality of WorkWeb DevelopmentWordPress DevelopmentManage Plugins / ThemesOn BudgetOn TimeTypical Job Tasks include: Maintain existing sites and update current sites, also products within shopping carts.Build necessary future websitesWork with sales and design team to implement new strategiesReview, test, analyze and modify sites to function at or better than current web standardsWork with and integrate the latest technologies in interactive media – blogs, forums, video, social media etc.Participate in weekly meetings to assess workflow and company progressionOccasionally provide live meeting/tech support for clientsOther duties as assignedIntermediate to an expert at WordPress and the WordPress Database requiredEducation: An associate’s degree in a computer-related field (computer science/programming). 4 years of field experience with the below-listed requirements may be substituted for a computer-related degree Art Unlimited offers on-site training for the right applicant.Experience: Two years of web programming experience required. In-house training for software is available for qualified applicants.Technical Skills: Knowledge of Code and Languages: XHTML, HTML5, CSS3, bootstrap, and Javascript. Experience in WordPress development and PHP, WordPress Database, WooCommerce, and booking plugins. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of other CMS applications such as Joomla and Microsoft Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code is a plus. Knowledge of the concepts of web design for mobile devices and tablets. Intermediate level of expertise in Microsoft C# or Java working in Microsoft Visual Studio Blazor Applications with an understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts such as classes and main modules for ‘reusable code” to minimize and organize the code base.Communication Skills: Strong written and interpersonal communication skills are required with the ability to self-direct when confronted with support issues. Ability to manage details, delegate tasks, be flexible, and have efficient work habits under a deadline, and communicate project budget requirements and status.Physical Requirements: Constantly operates a computer or other office equipment such as a calculator, copier, or computer printer. Remains in a stationary position 75% of the day. Must communicate verbally by phone or in-person with clients or team members.Other Skills: Applicants must be able to be productive in a fast-paced work environment. Time-sensitive projects must be completed within deadlines. Must be able to work on team-based projects.
