Boeing Talent Acquisition is currently looking for one System Engineer to join the Visual Systems team in St.
Louis, MO .
This position will focus on supporting the Government Training Systems & Services .
GTS&S is responsible for the design, development, manufacture, and maintenance of training devices for Fixed Wing (P-8 and C-17) aircraft.
A successful candidate will work with other Engineers to define and verify Image Generator and Projector requirements, develop hardware/software interfaces, perform system integration efforts, manage IG runtime supplier efforts, debug hardware/software problems, and address day-to-day issues involving productionizing solutions.
Candidate will also Interfaces with the trainer crew station, database generation, and display groups as well as the end customer using the delivered products.
Candidate will perform work in a rapidly changing and evolving environment and must/needs to be able to apply appropriate technical decisions to complex problems.
Candidate will develop and review specifications, including system, system segment and equipment specifications, and Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
Position Responsibilities: Product development for Visual Systems Support Visual Systems, proposals, planning, scheduling Support systems level CONOPS development, requirements definition, multi-segment interface definition, architecture integration, functional analysis, and system design activities.
Work with COTS hardware and software to build out the window training scenes Support all aspects of product development and delivery via the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Support system level integration and test planning.
This position requires an active U.S.
Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required).

Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) ABachelor”s, Master”s or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
A minimum of 3 years experience in systems or software development lifecycle and knowledgeable of agile methodology.
A minimum of 3 years experience leading teams working on projects using the following technologies, tools and languages: VersionOne, C++, Java, Perl, Python, Unix, Linux, Windows and configuration management tools, Ability to travel domestically and internationally 25% of the time.
Preferred Qualification P-8 or C-17 training systems experience.
Experience with various imaging systems ( EO, Radar, IR, etc), processing techniques.
Be familiar with Host Simulation Software Ability to work flexible hours, overtime and occasional weekends when necessary.
A minimum of 2 years experience with CIGI (Common Image Generator Interface) simulation protocol Relocation: This position does not offer relocation.
