UX Designer

Responsibilities The User Experience (UX) Designer researches business requirements and technical limitations, in order to create and conduct user research, interviews and surveys translate them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mock-up and prototypes for products developed for end-users.

Participates in product development with the goal of disruptive innovation through design thinking and agile-based methodologies, coupled with advanced technology platforms.

Responsible for the design of the overall functionality of the product and in order to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user testing.

Required Education and Experience Seven (7) years process improvement, management consulting, change management, or related functional area work experience of which Three (3) year’s experience must be in UX design.

Expertise in standard UX software such as Sketch, OmniGraffle, Axure, InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer etc.

Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.

Experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions.

A solid grasp of user-centered design, planning and conducting user research, user testing, AB testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.

Some knowledge of applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and standards impacting business unit areas.

Proficient in one or more data management tools.

Key Job Accountabilities 1) Facilitate the Product Owner’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user testing experiences for digital products.

2) Generate design concepts, participate in design discussions and critiques, and collaborative sessions with teams and stakeholders.

3) Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes for usability testing and review, that lead to intuitive user experiences 4) Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mock-ups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces 5) Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions using Design ThinkingUser Centered Design practices.

6) Make strategic design and user-experiences decisions related to core, and new, functions and features 7) Utilize a user-centered design approach and rapidly tests and iterates designs.

Modify designs based on feedback from the team and user to ideate and improve end products 8) Analyzing user feedback and activity, and iterating to enhance the user experience 9) Collaborate with Product Owner, stakeholders, and other team members to ensure a comprehensive and user-friendly solution, which exceeds the needs of your user 10) Provide the necessary communication and change management to ensure adoption and product success
