Job Title: Test Engineer (Enterprise Servers and Networking Switches)

Location: Round Rock, TX 78682

Duration: 6+ months (Possible Extension)

Rate: Up to $40/Hour W2

Round Rock, TX.

Need to be local, will start remotely.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
Responsible for the execution of Test Cases to validate the product behavior according to the Design docs and Behavior Specs.

Well-versed with Agile Software Development Model, defect tracking tools, Test Case management tools.

Should be able to seek information on product behavior from feature stakeholders, test leads.

Report defects with the required information, plan regression in accordance with the code changes and close the defects in the tool.

Participate in Daily Standups Execute Test cases assigned by Leads, Log defects, share feedback on Test collateral for any corrections, log defects and bring them to a closure.

– VMware vCenter Enterprise Operating Systems (Windows Server & Hypervisors, Linux, VMware, Hyper-V, Xen) Test Management Tools (Requirements, Test Cases, Defects, Automated Frameworks) Understanding of hardware and software interactions Understanding of the Product Development Life Cycle
