Telecommunications Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity for a Telecommunications Administrator to join our team of experts and be involved in the rare opportunity to support a new facility and all of United Shore’s operations.

You will ensure the stable operation of our enterprise voice environment using a Plan, Build, Operate model.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Support United Shore Team Members by building phones for new hires, movesaddschanges, application access trouble tickets Perform basic administration of Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection Monitor Unified Communication system applications to ensure peak performance Handle 1 st level incidenttrouble tickets escalate to appropriate persons or groups if necessary Assist in monthly system patching testing of Unified Communication systems Handle requests for hardware replacement or replenishment (phones, headsets, cords, etc.) Provide regular status on tasks accomplished, current issues progress toward goals Create job aides for training process documentation Collaborate with other team members across IT and the business Participate in rotating on-call coverage or emergency response as needed WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU Required Computer-related degree or equivalent experience 1 years of experience in Information Technology 1 years of experience with application administration Basic networking understanding Basic Windows Server understanding Communicate technical issues and solutions in a clear, simple and understandable way PC Trouble shooting experience Preferred BS or BA degree in networking, computer science, or CCNA Voice or other similar certification Financial Services industry experience Experience with Cisco Call Manager and Unity Connection THE PLACE THE PERKS United Shore is a rapidly growing, family-owned company that feels very much like family.
