We currently have a Senior Technology Workforce Development Analyst and a Technology Workforce Development Analyst positions.
Responsibilities: The Technology Workforce Development Analyst manages and supports programs to aid in the strategic development of the organization’s technology workforce This is based on the current and future needs of Strategy and Business Enablement.
This role will develop and lead programs in the areas of workforce planning, attraction, selection, onboarding, engagement, and technical and competency development.
Including, the development of programs for existing and future technology leaders.
This role researches and makes recommendations on programs for attracting of workforce given the fluid and competitive landscape for technical talent.
Also, explores new workforce avenues to help ensure that S&BE is well positioned to have high-performing talent and to meet delivery goals.
The analyst will support th e S&BE leadership team in understanding business directions, challenges and opportunities that will drive technology workforce strategies and programs.
This role will also partner with training vendors to implement workforce development programs.
The Technology Workforce Analyst will develop processes, gather data, and produce metrics for the S&BE organization as pertaining to workforce planning, attraction, engagement and development.
Focus Areas: Strategic Workforce Programs
– Support of strategic recruiting pipelines and associated external and internal relationships/partnerships for high-demand, scarce and evolving technology roles.
Keeps abreast of external, global workforce landscape and explores and assists with implantation of opportunities through work with S&BE managers and HR.
Works with managers in S&BE to look at best-fit options based on expected hiring needs.
Facilitates implementation of intern/coop program, diversity and inclusion programs, and other programs aimed at recruiting of technology workforce by working with S&BE managers; Develops/maintains relationships with universities, vendors, etc.
Technology Skills Development
– Aid in technology workforce development and organizational strategies through facilitation of identification and use of common learning tools, channels and programs.
Assist other S&BE teams in maintenance of IT Resource information.
Technology Workforce Engagement
– Identify, develop, and execute on programs to build culture, increase employee engagement, collaboration, and inclusion.
Technology Leadership Programs
– Assists in development of leadership development programs and processes.
Gathers and analyzes workforce demographics to assist in workforce planning and identification of future roles/needs of the business.
Works on programs to ensure workforce growth and continuity.
Develops processes and information to assist S&BE managers in understanding preparedness of individuals and groups of individuals for future technology roles (mentorship, technology leadership, etc).
Workforce Processes
– Researches and supports consideration, development, and implementation of various views of sourcing (local v national v global, remote v on-premise, etc.) and new ways of working for future.
Assists organization with processes and information to best accommodate/support new ways of working Corporate Workforce Programs Liaison
– Assists in partnership with HR to represent existing and future needs of S&BE to corporate workforce/talent programs.
Works with S&BE to participate in those programs.
Leads initiatives to help implement corporate programs in S&BE.
Assists in or leads S&BE initiatives in areas such as position description development, talent management, leadership development, immigration, inclusion, and community engagement Technology Workforce Data/Analysis -Creates processes and information to ensure that the S&BE organization has the right information to support strategic workforce understanding and setting of direction.
Develops tools to gather and analyze data associated with effectiveness of technology workforce programs as related to attraction, selection, development, retention, effectiveness of alternate staffing solutions, and corporate priorities such as diversity and inclusion.
