Technician II

A Technician II job in Rancho Cordova, California is available through Modis.

This Technician II performs calibration and preventive maintenance coordinating activities for equipmenttools from various departments within the company.

The Technician II will also perform verification of equipmenttools certifications and relevant test data to ensure acceptable specifications prior to release for use using good laboratory practices and established procedures.

This Technician II notifies management and other required functions of findings that are potential safety concerns stemming from equipmenttools failure from calibration and or preventive maintenance.

Technician II job responsibilities include Review and analyze equipmenttools calibration certification to determine acceptability Maintain calibration and preventative maintenance schedule, using various databases (ERP-SAP, Excel).

Creation and execute work orders in ERP-SAP.

Maintain equipment spare parts inventory and order as necessary.

Locating recall equipmenttools when necessary and provide pickup from local locations Monitor maintenance status of individual instruments and coordinate with external service technicians Maintain calibration and preventive maintenance data file in an organized format.

Perform all work in compliance with company SOPs, WI’s and regulatory and safety standards.

Review appropriate criteria for closure of equipmenttools OOT Review relevant documents for updating when necessary and provide suggestions for improvements.

Perform other related duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma andor some college 0-5 years of related experience in calibration (Quality) processing in the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical industry.

Laboratory experience is preferred General understanding of QSRISO knowledge is an asset.

Basic understanding of FDA CFR an asset Exposure to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) an asset Capable of lifting 20lbs from floor to above shoulders Ability to adhere to clean room gowning policy Clear and effective oral and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills Strong organizational office skills Ability to handle multiple priorities with tight deadlines Proficient in MS Office, other computer programs an asset Travel locally for equipmenttools pickupdelivery If you are interested in this Technician II job in Rancho Cordova, California then please click APPLY NOW.
