Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Team up with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
• Lend a hand to the design of information and operational support systems
• Maintain, configure, install, and test system management tools, operating systems, and application software
• Be actively engaged to achieve the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Administrate backup, security, and redundancy strategies
• Govern and oversee all installed systems and infrastructure
• Follow and analyze application performance for potential bottlenecks, detect possible solutions, and work together with developers to fulfill those fixes
• Assist with 2nd and 3rd level support
• Record and keep custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
• Applicants should have experience with monitoring systems
• Applicants should have experience with virtualization and containerization

• If you have proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems, you will be strongly preferred for this position
• Solid scripting skills is required for success at this position
• Experience with Multi-Factor Authentication
• Adeptness in VPNs (virtual private networks)
• Demonstrated knowledge of Cyber Security
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Office 365
• Exchange Online Protection experience
• Command of Active Directory
• Foundational knowledge in BitLocker
• If you have solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks, you will be strongly preferred for this position
