Volt is seeking a Sr.
Software Integration Architect to work onsite at our clientrsquos facility in Peoria, IL.
This is a contingent position forecasted for one year.
Within this role, you will contribute to the design, development and deployment of Systems Integration components of our clientrsquos state-of-the-art digital platform and advanced goals of Systems Integration and Platform Adoption team.
This team helps build a world class platform to host a wide range of digital applications.
Additional Responsibilities Include Perform all programming, project management, and development assignments without close supervision normally assigned the more complex aspects of systems work Provide inputs and share ideas with leadership Participate in and contribute to in-depth architecture reviews of the projected deliverables Managecontribute to detailed software integration deliverables from concept and initiation to the end of development Work directly on complex applicationtechnical problem identification and resolution, including responding to occasional off-shift and weekend support calls Work independently on complex systems or infrastructure components that may be used by one or more applications or systems Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits Communicate with end users and internal customers to help direct development, debugging, and testing of application software for accuracy, integrity, interoperability, and completeness Perform integrated testing of components that require careful planning and execution to ensure timely, quality results Required SkillsExperience Bachelorrsquos degree in Computer Science or related discipline 3-5 years of experience designing and developing software applications in Java or Scala Knowledge in cloud architecture and cloud deployment practices with at least two years of in-depth experience with various components of AWS Adept with working within an Agile framework (ideally Scrum) Solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints Strong written and oral communication Ability to build and maintain cross-functional professional relationships Desired SkillsExperience Experience designing, developing, deploying and maintaining software at scale Experience developing software applications using relational and NoSQL databases Experience with application architectural patterns, such as MVC, Microservices, Event-driven, etc.
Experience deploying software using CICD tools such as Jenkins, GoCD, Azure DevOps, etc.
Experience designing well-defined Restful APIs Experience writing API proxies on platforms such as Apigee Edge, AWS API Gateway or Azure API Gateway Hands on experience with API tools such as Swagger, Postman and Assertible Experience with test driven development and behavior driven development This position will be located in Peoria, IL.
Candidates must be able to relocate at their own expense.
Must be available to work on W2 for Volt.
