Sr Project Manager

JOB TITLE: Sr Project Manager JOB DESCRIPTION: Financial Services or Banking Background highly desirable Software Deployment or Release experience desired
•PMP certified
•MS Project experience or MS Project server Level of Education and Discipline: A Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS) or equivalent education, training or experience in Business, Engineering, Project or Program Management, or related field.

Master’s Degree (MBA, MS, or MA) preferred.

Amount of Experience: Equivalent years of education and training, plus seven (7) or more years related experience.

Certifications: Project Management Certification strongly desirable.

Professional Engineer License desirable.

Type of Experience: Demonstrated experience in project management of multiple and complex large projects.

Proven project management track record of high-visibility projects.

Business analysis, planning experience and proposal development.

Experience working in an environment with well-defined SDLC and Strong background in eBusiness solutions/web system integration or Information Assurance.

Knowledge of utility, municipality, or ISO industry highly desirable.

Demonstrates fundamental leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment as a leader, facilitator and team member.

Ability to provide practical and feasible solutions to problems, keeping multiple conflicting considerations into account.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills required.

Excellent analytical skills are required, including the ability to effectively communicate complex technical materials and concepts in a non-technical manner.

Must be able to handle a dynamic and changing work environment, and work independently.

Self-motivated, problem solving skills and the ability to influence others without direct authority.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project server version and other applications in the Microsoft Office Suite.
