We are currently looking for a talented Senior PHP Developer to join our client’s development team that provides custom solutions to their diverse group of clients Note: Not open to 3rd party/C2C consultants.
Must be able to work on a W2 basis without sponsorship.

PHP Developer will be an integral member of a client facing development team that will provide custom solutions to a diverse group of clients.
Working with the account services team to bridge the gap between design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
Responsibilities will range from working independently on multiple, simultaneously complex projects while serving as a technical consultant and a lead of projects.
The successful candidate must have the ability to communicate well, have a strong work ethic and organizational skills to work independently with minimal supervision and who can adapt quickly to changing requirements.
Provide technical leadership and assume overall accountability for a successful implementation phase on all client projects.
Ensure code and elements are properly architected and specified and review all code for quality assurance purposes.
Collaborate effectively with clients and internal cross-functional team members during the creative process to deliver custom solutions.
Establish and guide website architecture.
Design and implement new features and functionality.
Ensure high-performance and availability and managing all technical aspects of CMS platforms.
Formulate an effective, responsive design and turn it into a working theme and plugins.
Lead and advance the WordPress practice and help develop best practices.
Write documentation and perform training (both internal and client facing).
Mentoring more junior developers.
Assist in maintaining sites’ stability and security, including, but not limited to installing updates to CMS core files and plugins.
What you can bring to the table (must-have, required): 8-10 years of experience with PHP development.
6-8 years of experience with WordPress custom theme and plugin development.
At least 2 years of experience writing custom Gutenberg block code.
Understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery.
Strong HTML5/CSS3 and building mobile first responsive websites.
Experience building user interfaces for websites and web applications.
Experience setting up and maintaining multisite implementations of WordPress.
Experience developing for Drupal is a plus.
Experience implementing ecommerce (e.g., Woocommerce, Stripe) solutions.
Understanding and/or implementation of supplemental caching, such as MemCache or REDIS.
Understanding, Development, and Customization of WP Plugins.
Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug and Chrome Inspector.
Familiarity with the SDLC Process, development tools (JIRA, Bitbucket) and working in an agile development environment.
Provide technical excellence while adhering to Agile software engineering practices.
Have first-hand understanding of Agile development methodologies.
Demonstrated aptitude for analytics.
