Software Engineer II who is responsible for building consistent, reliable software and features for internal and external users that upholds Alkami’s brand and reputation.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining the “server-side” of our web applications.

Additionally, the Sr.

Software Engineer II is responsible for leading engineer teams and mentoring engineers throughout the development process.Key Responsibilities and Duties:Lead code/design reviews to ensure smooth daily operations and accurate planning for multiple teams.Organize work and lead multiple teams to deliver features and solutions.Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debuggingWrite clean code to develop functional web applicationsTroubleshoot and debug applicationsPerform UI tests to optimize performanceManage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applicationsCollaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logicGather and address technical and design requirementsSet up and maintain environment configurations and monitor system healthProvide training and support to internal teamsBuild reusable code and libraries for future useLiaise with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new featuresEagerness and ability to rapidly learn new skills, technologies and concepts, taking personal initiative to execute on projectsBe a positive role model while mentoring junior developers and others in the organizationQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, physics, math, statistics, or another related field2 years of web application development experienceProven work experience as a back-end engineerIn-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)Hands-on experience with programming languages like Java, Groovy, Kotlin, and PythonWorking knowledge of CMS frameworkExcellent analytical and time management skillsTeamwork skills with a problem-solving attitudeExperience building and deploying applications on Amazon Web ServicesHighly organized with strong attention to detailMust be self-directed and able to work independently, as well as work well with othersStrong written and verbal communication skillsAnalytical thinker, effective at analyzing data and working to grow their analysis skills.Desired Skills:Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g.
