JOB SCOPEThis Senior Engineer position requires a strong development background with responsibility developing and maintaining automations for their assigned team, and our current processes and procedures.

The candidate must have excellent communications skills, be highly motivated and work well in a collaborative team environment and perform on-call duties as needed.DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for automating processes for ticket mitigation.Analyze existing processes, procedures and practices and develop automated solutions.Provide timely feedback and code review analysis of any code proposed or updated for our team.Develop and maintain close working relationships with co-workers, peers, engineering and vendor partners to solve issues that arise.Support daily operations and be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Must demonstrate strong problem solving skills.Able to work in an on-call rotation as part of 24×7 support.BASIC/MINIMUM QUALITFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and/or equivalent work experience.Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a UI Path developer.Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a Java developer.Minimum three (3) years’ experience sql experience.Understanding of ticketing systems and practices.ADDITIONAL JOB QUALIFICATIONSShell scripting experienceLinux OS experienceUnderstanding of security best practicesFamiliarity with provisioning processes/systems.Motivated self-starterStrong organization and work ethicPREFERRED QUALIFICATONSProgramming expertise (Perl, Python, shell)Virtual machine concepts/best practices.Understanding on http/https protocolsWORKING CONDITIONSOffice environment.
