Software Tester

Job Brief This position is eligible for an Enhanced Employee Referral bonus.

DCS is seeking a Software Tester to support the Weaponeering and Stores Planning Common Component (WASP CC) software development effort.

Applicants from entry to mid-level experience will be considered.

Essential Job Functions: Perform requirements analysis of software requirement specifications.

Design, develop, and execute software test plans and procedures.

Design, develop, and execute automated user interface tests.

Take ownership of and responsibility for software products being developed.

Work closely with project management, scrum masters, development team, and release engineering team.

Required Skills: Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S.

Citizenship is required.

A Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field is required.

Ability to obtain Secret Clearance within six to nine months of hire date.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work with a geographically-distributed team.

Desired Skills: Experience with in the following technologies for developing Windows applications: C++, C#, WPF, COM.

Knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Team Foundation Services (TFS) and/or Azure DevOps.

Knowledge and familiarity with automated testing tools (Code dui, Appius).

Understanding and experience of Agile Scrum.
