Software QA Engineer – Boston, MA

You’ll be part of a small, interdisciplinary team of engineers who are intelligent, driven, and enjoy their accomplishments.

Your primary responsibility will be to deliver stable software and firmware releases regularly.

Daily tasks may include developing and maintaining tests, triaging bugs, and planning QA milestones.
You’ll develop/write test plans to ensure coverage of new features and release phases.
Create and maintain manual and automated test cases for multiple software applications.
Test all Digital Lumens customer-facing software, web and mobile applications, wireless network devices, and desktop applications for Mac and Windows.
Write automated tests for applications built using Javascript and the React-Native package.
Utilize in-house test tools as well as third-party automation frameworks such as Squish and Selenium.
You will track defects and features across different products and milestones.
You will work closely with the development team throughout every phase of the software release cycle.
You’ll analyze existing automated scripts and determine the point of failure.
You’ll assist the support team and escalate customer issues.
What we would like:
You’ll need 2+ years of SQA or related engineering experience.
Have a Bachelor’s Degree in CS, CE, ECE, or equivalent.
You have experience with manual testing Web, Mobile, and Desktop applications.
Experience with Test Case Management and Defect Tracking tools.
Experience with Linux, Mac, and Windows.
You know HTML, CSS, Python, Javascript, or any similar language.
You’ll need to be comfortable in a team environment and as well be self-directed.
