About the Role:
The Core Business Applications team is a foundational team building the engine that runs the company.
This includes custom and proprietary internal tooling used by all aspects of the company.
It is the one team that touches all parts of the business.
The Core Business Applications team is looking to add a Senior Software Engineer to our growing team.
Member experience is a top priority for Landing, and the tools built and maintained by this team facilitate every interaction.
This role will contribute to our core internal product, the IVR and telecoms product, and the CRM solutions to enable our member teams, host experience teams, property success teams, and support teams to create delightful experiences for everyone interacting with Landing.
In your first week you will push code to production, and in your first three months you will own one large feature from start to finish.

The engineering organization is organized into small, focused pods, so you will have a massive opportunity for autonomy and ownership.
What You’ll Do:
Work directly with all internal teams to create unified solutions to business problems
Consider balanced approaches, finding the right direction and application that best fits a solution
Collaborate with a thoughtful, motivated team of engineers to understand tradeoffs of different solutions
Consult and coach across the entire engineering organization to help teams follow best practices
Take ownership of the technical implementation of mission critical business processes, owning technology solutions from design to deployment through monitoring and maintenance
What You Need:
Exceptional written communication skills
Strong Javascript experience
Experience understanding business processes across a variety of teams
Experience with React or equivalent component based Javascript frameworks
Experience working in a distributed cloud environment
Nice to Have:
Twilio Flex experience
Heroku experience
GraphQL experience
Experience building web applications and APIs with Ruby on Rails or another web MVC framework
