Wealth and Investment Management Technology is seeking a Software Engineer/Applications Developer with strong background in Java and Angular development.

This position will be part of a Java development team building and supporting enterprise applications.

In this role you will design, develop, and support Java applications for the Wealth and Trust businesses.

The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, possess good problem solving skills, and work well in a team.

Key responsibilities include:
Design, develop and maintain enterprise class mission critical web applications for Wealth & Trust business domains Contribute in all aspects of application development life cycle (analysis, design, develop, test, deploy, support) Writing high quality & high performance code with high level of test coverage Adhering to Software Development Life-cycle policies, procedures and standards Ensuring applications adhere to all Wells Fargo policies, vulnerability management and technology updates Improving processes and automating to make them simpler, faster, and more secure Act as senior developer supporting other developers and provide technical direction to less experienced staff Interact with business teams to review, analyze, design and implement solutions that meet the business need Ensure documentation on architecture, processes and systems changes are up to date Collaborate with other teams & team members to design, implement and maintain software solutions Be part of high-performing agile team with ability to flex according to project needs Continuously learn to improve skills and staying current on technology trends Required Qualifications
5+ years of software engineering experience 5+ years of Java experience 1+ year of experience developing with Angular 7 and above application 3+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata 2+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot 2+ years of experience with one or a combination of the following: RESTful, JSON or XML web-based services 1+ year of Agile experience
Desired Qualifications
An industry-standard technology certification Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology Knowledge and understanding of cloud computing 1+ year of Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) experience Messaging Queue (MQ) experience Knowledge and understanding of Selenium software testing framework Knowledge and understanding of application testing methodologies, tools, and execution Knowledge of widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games Brokerage or wealth management experience

Ability to work additional hours as needed Ability to work on call as assigned Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays
