Software Engineer – Holland, MI

What You’ll Do:

• Architect, design, develop and support software systems for manufacturing automation machines requiring: dynamic software solutions, custom software, algorithm development, plant networking,
• LabView, IT, data collection and/or SCADA systems.
• Assist in the development of the Software Engineer ing Group through leadership, experience, positive attitude, encouragement, and mentoring.

• Incorporate software technologies into the equipment JR Automation produces.
• Continuously evolve and improve current processes.
• Adhere to JR Automation and Software Engineer ing standards and processes.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree OR 4 + years’ experience in embedded software.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science/Engineering, Software Engineer ing or Mechatronics preferred.
• At least 1 year of exper ience in Database design , Architecture , Implementation

Skills You’ll Have:

• Proven ability to accept direction and complete tasks as assigned while working as part of a team or individually.
• Software skills in .NET, Python, JAVA

Other Details:

• Willingness to travel for up to 25% and commit to extended travel periods for project-based work, training, sales events, and conferences.
• Some international travel could be required.
