Software Engineer

Location: Boston, MA
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Software Engineer.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Develop a REACT UI for manual data input.
• Assist with the development of the application logic needed to accept and validate the content of a JSON or XML input and initiate execution of a Docker container contains 3rd party vendor software.
• Facilitate application code to post an output payload to downstream partners for consumption.
• Develop logic to persist status messages from the clients processing to a mySQL database, and to accept a status back message from downstream partners and persist content within the message to a mySQL database

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required 
• Development experience working with the following technologies and tools: Kubernetes, Kafka, Docker, Unix, React, mySQL, Java, Javascript, IntelliJ, Jest/React testing Libraries, Spock, Github, Jenkins, Agile methodologies and processes.
• Detailed knowledge of Controls/Balancing/end to end transaction tracking
• Experience with data / transactional reconciliation using SQL queries and the ability to author those needed queries
• Healthcare Insurance background with experience in the Fulfillment arena, preferred 
• General familiarity with Group/Customer install processes, member enrollment, and claim adjudication is preferable.
