Banking
In the Banking group, we help lending institutions make important decisions about their business, particularly when they are providing loans, managing risk, or conducting financial planning for the future of their institution.
We do this with our innovative software and reliable analytics, helping them understand how to do their job better through training, learning solutions and advisory services.
We are a dedicated team of experts in technology and financial analytics who understand what our clients need.
In order to support its configuration deliveries for products in production and the new generation of cloud native Banking RegTech software products, Moody’s Analytics is recruiting a Software engineer.
The role is part of the Banking Technology Team in charge of the technical infrastructure and platform used to build regulatory application.
Our goal is to be able to support our clients around the world to the meet regulatory requirements of the banking regulation according to Basel II/III standards, focusing on performances and usability of the engine.
As a Software Engineer, you will have the responsibility to maintain and develop frameworks and services allowing other team to develop these applications.
Specific responsibilities:
• Analyze and understand the functional specification prepared by the product management team.
• Create, maintain, improve REST services and tools of the backoffice platform with respect to coding standard.
• Identify and solve problem encountered internally or by customer
• Interact with architect, business analysts, project managers, quality assurance analysts
• Integrate an Agile team located in Grenoble, reporting to the team lead.
Experiences :
• Master degree in computer science
• Experience of application development
Competencies:
• Knowldege of development using Java/Spring/Hibernate
• Ability to investigate and solve technical issues
• Be autonomous and rigorous
• Team player and ability to work as a team organized with Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, XP)
Additional skills :
• Knowledge of continuous environment process (Jenkins, Git, Maven)
• Development skillset using object oriented languages (python, ruby)
• Basic Linux knowledge (RHEL, CentOS)
• Experience in Spark will be appreciated
• Experience in Cloud technology (AWS) will be appreciated
• A good English communication level is required.
