Hadoop/Knowledge Platform Application Developer – Seattle, WA -12+ Months

• Develop and maintain software to transform structured data as part of large-scale data processing pipelines
• Debug and monitor the health of data processing pipelines
• Work and communicate with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of Python and AWS is required
• Understanding of data pipelines at scale: Hadoop, Spark, Scala
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of knowledge graphs (Wikidata, DBpedia, Freebase) and relevant concepts is a good plus
• Highly detail-oriented with ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
• Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant areas
• Master’s Degree is a plus
