The Intelligence group provides high-end systems engineering and integration products and services, data analytics and software development to national and military intelligence customers. Responsibilities

  • Supports software architecture development, requirements analysis, process execution and evaluation, selection and evaluation of COTS/GOTS tools, and integration (with both new and legacy systems)
  • Interacts with customers and development team to gather and define requirements
  • Analyzes and studies customer requirements to determine the most effective software technologies to satisfy their needs
  • Designs, creates, tests, and maintains software based applications to satisfy customer requirements
  • Follows a formal design process using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, and other accepted design techniques and also adheres to laws, standards and established guidelines for development and delivery of software applications (e.g., reuse, modifiable, efficient, reliable, understandable, fault tolerant)
  • Coordinates creation and collection of necessary technology components and integrate them into a coherent site design
  • Designs and develops visually-pleasing, content rich, user-friendly interfaces with intuitive navigation
  • Develops and maintains software development technical documentation to assist with software application maintenance and upgrades
  • Provides software process management and configuration management throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI w/Poly
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of experience or a Master’s Degree with 6 years, PhD with 4 years, High School Diploma/GED with 12 years, or Associates Degree with 10 years
  • Provides technical / management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives.
  • Has domain and expert technical knowledge.
  • Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met.
  • Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management. Decision making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation. May supervise others.
