We are looking for a Software Developer to join our Technical Operations team.

American Direct is looking for motivated individuals to help our organization continue its expansion across the country.

Responsibilities

The software developer will be part of an agile development team, building and working on enterprise grade software systems on top of the JAVA development stack.

The software developer will:
Develop and implement client/server and web-based Java applications to support business requirements
Follow approved life cycle methodologies
Perform coding and testing
Resolve technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation

Software Developer will report to the Technical Operations Manager.

Position Requirements

Required Skills
A minimum of 3 years of Software Development experience
Knowledge of Java/JEE, JSON, XML, REST, MVC frameworks, design patterns
Working knowledge of object-oriented design and development skills
Experience using Scrum/Agile development methodologies
Experience writing, modifying, and debugging software
Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications
Analyze and resolve technical and application problems
Experience analyzing information, performing software testing, and troubleshooting
Experience with documenting application processes
Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget
Collaborate with team members to scope development effort and provide reliable resource and timeline estimates

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Education

– Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or related field.

Relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of education.

Preferred Skills
Experience working with Eclipse IDE and Linux
Hibernate experience
SQL Server 2012+ and MySQL 5.5+ experience
