What You’ll Do
- Work with a wide range of technologies, including C#/.NET Core, RESTful Microservices, APIs, AWS services, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, CQRS/Event Sourcing.
- Quickly assimilate and efficiently use new technologies and programming languages.
- Write quality, performant, secure code and unit tests, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
- Operate and support the production system, including on-call duties.
- Participate in the design and development of new features and capabilities, both on-prem and in an AWS cloud environment.
- Participate in peer-to-peer code reviews.
- Apply concepts and algorithms for data processing and analysis.
Minimum Requirements
- Able to work well with business customers, engineering, and technical partners.
- Proficient in C#/.NET Core, AWS & Web services.
- Proficient in relational Databases.
- Able to communicate clearly and in a timely manner in both verbal and written communication with other Software Development Engineers.
- Technically proficient in core technologies and methodologies, and able to adapt to changes and apply to technological and/or business needs of limited scope.
- Able to take direction from others in analyzing and solving program and system issues and problems.
- Able to work with minimum direction.
- Able to analyze, diagnose, and resolve light to medium, and highly complex programming problems and system coordination issues.
- Proficient with Test Driven Development including unit test creation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, and experience in application or database development.
Work Environment
- Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Work outside of normal hours may be required, including being on call 7 days per week, 24 hours per day.
