Senior User Experience (UX) Designer

RESPONSIBILITIES Kforce has a client in search of a Senior User Experience (UX) Designer in Fort Worth, TX and Austin, Texas (TX).

This position has some remote flexibility.

And any lead experience is a huge plus.

Summary The company’s product team is looking for a Senior User Experience (UX) Designer to lead in the design of world-class, engaging user experiences for our products.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication.

This individual should excel at simplifying the complex and delivering -Don’t Make Me Think
– interfaces.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in a fast-paced and innovative development environment, a thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies, and enterprise software.

This candidate thrives in spending time 70 of their time as an individual contributor and 30 of their time doing strategy and people management.

REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field 5 years of involvement in user experience design with enterprise web applications Ability to understand functional user stories to refine and enhance solutions within the team Excellent conceptualization and visual communication abilities A strong working knowledge of Sketch, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools Strong written and verbal communication skills clearly and well Comfortable working with remote product and engineering teams Understanding of common software project management practices and Agile development A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns Detail oriented and have the ability to manage multiple work streams A confident professional with an entrepreneurial spirit who is not afraid to ask why and provide a solution Great attention to design principles including graphic design, layout, typography, and color Self-motivated and results-oriented Possess a strong passion for customers and for the value our product provides You take smart risks and champion new ideas Preferably, you have familiarity with digital analytics platforms like DoubleClick or Omniture Preferably, you have experience conducting user research People-oriented, have a friendly demeanor, and a personable nature Ability to learn quickly and on a continuous basis Demonstrate your ability to troubleshoot, but seek advice when appropriate Committed to quality and thoroughness Organized and manage your time well Passion for learning new technologies Kforce is an Equal OpportunityAffirmative Action Employer.
