The System Design & Architecture Directorate is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD).

Job Description:
We are seeking Systems Engineering professionals in the Integrated Fire Control Systems (IFCS) department.

The department leads all aspects of Systems Engineering that drive the development of complex systems to support the Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) Land Warfare and Air Defense (LWAD) and Naval Power (NP) mission areas from our Tewksbury MA, Andover MA, and St.

Petersburg FL locations.

The IFCS department supports RMD by cultivating a world-class group of systems thinkers who work together as a team to architect technical solutions to some of the world’s toughest challenges.

Key technical domains include Radar Systems and Sensor Netting, Effector Systems, Battle Management, Command and Control, Communications, Network Design, Battlespace Integration and Interoperability for Domestic and International customers.
This multi-disciplined Engineering team leads the development of the U.S.

Navy’s Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC), a real-time ‘sensor-netting’ system that brings together radar data into a single integrated air picture from geographically dispersed ships, aircraft and ground-based units.

This integrated picture improves a battlegroup’s effectiveness by enabling longer range, cooperative, or layered engagements.

Today’s CEC benefits from advancements in commercial and specialized technologies, as well as from the experience and expertise of the Raytheon team, continually innovating to advance capability and performance.
The location for this position is in St.

Petersburg, FL, performing the following Systems Engineering tasks:
Systems Engineering Studies / Trades to determine solutions to technical issues System Requirements Definition, Analysis, and Maintenance for US Navy System System Design & Algorithm Development System Integration, Test, and Analysis; to include occasional travel Work in coordination with the Program office to support customer Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs)
Required Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or Physics with minimum of 4(+) years of experience Experience in requirements development, algorithm development, or modeling and simulation Ability to produce and present technical documentation including customer briefings and specifications Active SECRET Clearance, or Interim SECRET required prior to start date Desired Skills:
Master’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science Solution oriented individual who has initiative and can communicate technical details effectively (Good written and oral communication skills) Experience supporting US Navy and/or DoD customers Experience working on larger DoD software development and maintenance programs Experience integrating combat systems and/or radar systems Experience with MATLAB and/or Simulink programming languages for performance predictions and data analysis Experience with Radar Tracking/Sensor Fusion and/or Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence Experience with C/C++ programming languages Experience with DOORS tool Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering and/or Rhapsody Technical leadership experience Familiar with Agile teams and processes Required Education (including Major):
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or Physics or related discipline
Note: This position can be a Salary Grade G08 or Salary Grade G09 based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position.

This position requires a Secret security clearance.
