The Strategic Weapon Systems group at Draper is seeking a Missile Avionics Senior System Engineer to work within multi-disciplinary teams to architect next-generation weapon system avionics/electronics solutions for the war fighter. This role will be of high interest to experienced system engineers who desire to participate in the conceptualization and development of new US military capabilities in strategic mission domains, which may include: global strike and/or strategic deterrent systems, hypersonic strike, missile defense systems, military space systems, and nuclear command, control, and communications (NC3).
Duties and responsibilities may include:
A successful candidate will be motivated to build deeper expertise in both the core mission domain(s), avionics technology, and model-based systems engineering methods. Working in a dynamic team environment developing state-of-the-art weapon systems will provide exposure to a wide range of advanced technologies as well as afford opportunities for increased leadership/impact on the development of new war-fighter capability.
