Telemetry Software Systems Engineer Aurora, Co Top Secret Clearance GeoLogics is currently recruiting for a Software Systems Engineer for maintenance of Command & Control Operations for Ground Support.
This role will provide technical direction and clarification of requirements to software development teams, integration, and test personnel, perform system engineering analyses including trade studies, use case development, requirements definition and derivation, interface definition, and requirement validation.
Required Skills: 5 years engineering experience meeting deadlines and providing quality service Concept development, system and product design, requirements management, technical risk management, interface definition and control Experience with Microsoft Office suite of tools Desired Skills: Experience with Ground equipment/RF equipment Experience in integration, and/or verification and validation Experience in SE process development and deployment Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using DOORS, Enterprise Architect and JIRA or similar tools Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree is required.
STEM degree is preferred.

Job Requirements: Serve as technical systems software Perform detailed system hardware/software troubleshooting Maintain all server related software and desktop operating systems and system software Write technical documentation for existing hardware and software systems Manage servers and associated operating systems/software Provide primary support for systems hardware and software Provide technical support on all systems Manage other systems engineers to complete systems engineering tasks Direct the interface of software systems with the hardware configuration and the applications systems Develop system/sub-system specifications, support system integration and system/software verification activities Recommend hardware/software technologies in support of application requirements Maintaining hardware and software systems and services Lead server and network operating system upgrades Managing the hardware and software systems lifecycle Resolving hardware and software compatibility issues based on systems architecture Provide improved systems technology infrastructure Configure servers and server software/drivers Provide systems engineering support throughout the entire software development lifecycle Implement new server based hardware and software components Integrate key restaurant-level hardware and software systems
