Job Description

EGI is a fast paced dynamic and startup like organization that is responsible for incubating new ideas within Intel.

We have over 1,500 employees globally.

Our portfolio includes HW SW Solutions and SaaS businesses.

Borne out of EGI, Inteon is Intel’s first Machine Programming company.

Still in stealth-mode, the company is seeking a talented Senior Software Performance Engineer to join our team.

Our mission is to revolutionize software development by using advanced software technology and AI to automate the code development process.

We are inventing the future of technology for dense computational workloads such as deep learning, image and video processing, visualization, rendering, and more.

In this role your daily agenda will be anything but ordinary.

You will:

• Develop software code generation technology as the primary job function; Designs, develops, debugs and tests code generating software in CPP e.g.

  advanced compiler optimizations and features for x86 CPU, RISC and GPUs

• Have the opportunity to work with hardware design team, companies and communities developing compilers.
• Be a Self-Starter that can function in start-up type environment with ambiguity and many simultaneous tasks
• Take novel ideas from research and implement them in commercial

Qualifications

Candidates must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Requirements listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/class projects and or research.

Minimum Required Education:

• Batchelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or in related field of study

Minimum Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in C/C++
• 3+ years of experience in performance or code optimization for x86 CPU and/or Nvidia GPU
• 3+ years of experience using scripting languages such as Python/Bash
• 3+ years of experience with Nvidia CUDA and/or OpenCL

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Halide and/or TVM
• Experience with hardware architectures beyond CPU and GPU (e.g., TPU, VPU, FPGA, etc.)
• Experience with deep learning technology and frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.)
• Experience collaborating on open-source projects
• Experience with SYCL
• Experience coding for x86 vector instructions SSE, AVX

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$130,020.00-$195,420.00
