Designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for software enhancements and new products.

Develops software including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases and Internet-related tools.

Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.

How youll make your mark: Work with technical leaders and architects to understand new product requirements Create functional specs and other design documentation.

Design, code, test and debug control plane software that can handle millions of objects.

Work with other Data Services teams, QA, Customer Support and Platform teams to debug and fix complex customer and internally found quality issues.

Provide guidance to management and participate in technical communication with customers Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software systems design organization.

About you: You have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

You have experience using C++ to design/develop Object Storage Systems software on a Linux Platform.
