About You

We are looking for an exceptional and ambitious engineer who enjoys architecting systems and developing in an agile development environment.

As part of our tight-knit team, you thrive in building scalable, flexible systems with an emphasis on improving maintainability.

You will be a key contributor to the engineering best-practices at JobGet, while working closely with the rest of the engineering team.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop new user-facing features and build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Write tests to mitigate regressions.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Lead, mentor, and guide less experienced developers
• Identify and propose best practices, new development strategies and software libraries
• Participate in an agile workflow using tools like Jira, Github and Slack

Requirements For The Role:

• Strong expertise in React/Redux, Next.js and related javascript libraries and frameworks.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues.
• Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as WebPack.
• Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance.
• Experiencing working with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD
• Experience with AWS.
• Understanding of SEO best practices.
• Experience with server-side rendering
