Senior Software Developer- Shawnee, KS

As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Products and Innovations team and will be responsible for the successful completion of projects.

You will be actively participating in the build, test, and support phases.

You will be working closely with Product Architects, Delivery Managers, and project team members to ensure that all requirements and deadlines are on track. 
Areas of focus within this role include build/test/document features to the requirements provided, manage assigned tasks, manage development resources, and ensure quality control to facilitate a successful project completion. 

• Utilize software development tools to develop, test, debug, and deploy quality software
• Utilize tools such as Git in the software development process
• Work with external clients and stake holders to gather and align requirements
• Create and execute requirements for software components within a larger project
• Develop and execute test plans
• Estimating level of effort, evaluate new options of similar technology, offer suggestions to improve processes
• Providing reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques
• Performing technical root cause analysis and outline corrective action for given problems
• Create and archive all necessary documentation related to assigned requirements
• Manage assigned project resources.

  This could include both people and technology.

Qualifications
Education:

Experience:

• 5-8 years of experience working with on software development projects
• Experience working in Java, Java Script, PHP, SQL, Groovy Script
  • Experience working with web APIs. 
• Any experience with SAP SFAPI, SF OData a plus
• Experience with Linux and web server administration
• Experience working with multiple large scale, complex projects. 
• Experience managing and/or mentoring junior resources.
• Confident use of Microsoft Office required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to complete projects timely and accurately
• Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills 
• Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment 
• Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment
• Willingness for flexible scheduling to meet processing demands
• Strong sense of urgency, proactive approach, and a solid focus on results
• Experience working with SAP Cloud Platform is a plus
