Senior QA Test Automation Engineer (SDET) at Lumeon

We are seeking a talented Sr.

QA Test Automation Engineer (SDET) to write, execute, and evaluate integration tests and system tests using industry-standard automated testing tools.

As the Sr.

SDET, you will create scripts and leverage monitoring tooling to compare and validate data results from testing.

As well as, be responsible for maintaining automated test scripts to meet platform software release deliverables, and quality considerations.

To ensure success as a Sr.

QA Test Automation Engineer (SDET), you should have advanced programming skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent time management skills.

This position will work remotely in the London, UK area.

Lumeon team members will collaborate in person, as needed, in shared office spaces.

Responsibilities and duties

  • Ensure you keep a thorough understanding of business, functional requirements
  • Maintain high standards of software quality by focusing on testing practices, technical deliverables, and client experience
  • Design and execute test cases, both manual and automated.

    report defects and evaluate fixes.

  • Develop, set up, and maintain test automation frameworks and tools
  • Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipeline
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues pertaining to testing tools, equipment, data, and tests
  • Conduct test reporting and analyze results to monitor the health of the system under test
  • Provide technical leadership to testing team members through mentorship and coaching
  • Analyze complex business needs presented by clients and contribute to the solution of complex technical problems
  • Test new technologies to be used at a project or organizational level, develop a proof of concepts, and make recommendations based on advantages and disadvantages
  • Automate, Automate, Automate.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Extensive experience in test automation role working with industry-standard automation frameworks
  • Expert experience with Java, Cucumber, Selenium, and building automated frameworks from scratch.
  • Prior experience implementing jobs and pipelines in Jenkins preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of MySQL and creating complex queries
  • Strong knowledge in source control tools (GIT)
