What you’ll do

The IT Security organization bears the broad responsibilities of delivering information security, practice governance & assurance, and data loss prevention throughout the TJX enterprise.

Our worldwide team applies expertise and deep business understanding to ensure confidence for all company associates, investors, and customers.

As a Security Product Owner, you will facilitate strategy and solutions for our Enterprise Network Security team.

You will lead the team toward achieving the team’s vision and objectives while validating customer satisfaction and business value alongside the Product Manager.

You will set direction for the team to increase productivity and communicate the business value of team accomplishments.

You will serve as the voice of the customer and key stakeholders to drive the team to deliver necessary work efforts.

You will refine and guide the product backlog for the Scrum Team(s) and partner with our customers to ensure we are delivering value for them.

This role will also help to guide our Product Owner and Product Management practices in terms of best practices and mentorship of other Product owners on the team.

What you’ll need

We seek creative, security-minded professionals to provide hands-on talent and social expertise in protecting TJX and its assets.

You’ll work with engineers, business programs, and other security professionals to adapt and improve our security posture in applications, infrastructure, and cloud modernization efforts.

5-8 years of related experience in an agile delivery framework, or requirement development or Product Owner role.
Proficient in translating business needs into user stories that teams can develop into finished deliverables.

Clearly define vision and scope with acceptance criteria.
Strong analytical skills to analyze options and drives solutions for complex business problems to deliver business value.
Understanding of Epic/Feature refinement, story point estimation process
Good communicator of ongoing risks, scope trade-offs, and timeline impacts to partners to ensure alignment.
Collaborate with Product Manager and other Product Owners to define and coordinate feature development across other teams and various IT teams to drive for results.
Solid understanding of Portfolio, Product, and Project Management tools

Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) preferred.
Experience with hybrid infrastructures and network architectures
Experience with Network Security concepts: Firewalls, Intrusion Detection, Vulnerability Management
Prior management, coaching, and mentoring experience
