We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Manager on the newly created Amazon Relief Fund (ARF) team.
ARF was established in March 2020 with a $25 million initial contribution focused on supporting our independent delivery service partners and their drivers, Amazon Flex participants, and seasonal employees under financial distress during this challenging time.
We are currently engaged in expanding the fund to support our employees and contractors around the world who face financial hardships from other qualifying events, such as natural disasters, federally declared emergencies, or other events that lead to unforeseen personal hardship.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining the product requirements (system and ops) to administer the Relief Fund program and the go-to-market strategy.
You will participate in developing the strategy and vision for the product, and will own the product roadmap and will partner closely with technical teams on the solution design, the initial rollout and the subsequent features roadmap as we expand the fund to more countries and more eligible populations and potentially more events.
This role is inherently cross-functional; you will partner with business, country leaders, HR, PR, ER, Tax, Legal and technical teams to scope the solution and define business requirements and coordinate and drive execution of the product launch.
A successful candidate will be a self-starter and quick learner who is highly analytical, able to work effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing technologies and capabilities into a high quality, simple product that customers will love.
This individual will have exceptional problem solving skills and strong business judgement, the proven ability to execute strategically and tactically, and will have significant experience delivering large, complex product builds.
The person will have a strong bias toward data driven decision-making and an innate ability to understand how to engage subject matter experts from multiple areas to address risks.
This leader will be comfortable navigating through ambiguity in a dynamic environment to drive clarity and deliver results.
Requirements: Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution Define creative, high quality, simple product roadmaps Develop detailed business requirements and user stories that will be used to create product specifications Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues Establishing goals and reviewing metrics to measure performance against objectives Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree 5 years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology Experience with end to end product delivery Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
