Senior Planning Manager

The Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions facility in Santa Clarita, California is the center of excellence for hardware level system integration and advanced package design.

We are growing and looking to add a Senior Planning Manager to our team.

As the Senior Planning Manager you will oversee activities related to the Production Planning and meeting contractual expectations.

You will select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Deliverables: Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures and planning systems.

Develop production plan, budget, and timelines according to production specifications.

Determine production requirements based on plant capacity and production specifications.

Plan workflow and schedules for production/engineering builds Monitor production status and ensure timely delivery.

Identify delays and accordingly adjust schedules to meet deadlines.

Assist in production risk assessment and mitigation activities.

Provide Notification to go to customers on any delays and outages.

Evaluate current production processes and recommend improvements.

Assist in new product development and enhancements.

Conduct daily meetings to keep track of production schedules.

Ensure that finished products meet quality standards and customer specifications.

Determine equipment, materials and manpower required to complete production.

Resolve production issues and escalate unresolved issues to management promptly.

Maintains Master Schedule of all programs.

This includes LOB and waterfalls to support Master Schedule.

Assist in employee hiring, training, performance evaluation, retention, and termination activities.

Your Expertise: Bachelors Degree 10 yrs planning expereince APICS training or certification, materials management experience Manager experience.

Strong interpersonal skills, adept with MS Office with high excel skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
