Applied Network Solutions, Inc. is looking for a TS/ SCI polygraph cleared Senior Network Engineer in Maryland. Position Details: In this role, you build, manage, and improve the networks that support data-driven analytics and operations research (ORSA). Responsibilities: • Oversee & Manage WAN/LAN networks
• Work with BGP, OSFP and MPLS protocols
• Monitor network performance (using both tools and log/file analysis)
• Respond to and resolve network connectivity, availability, and security issues
• Configure, secure, and optimize network hardware, software, compute, and storage services
• Network optimization (using Riverbed products)
• Improve network reliability and security Requirements Must Have: • BS or higher in a STEM field (may substitute additional years of experience in place of degree)
• Minimum of 12 years of WAN/LAN networking experience (both physical and virtual) that includes configuration, support, and optimization.
• Hands-on Virtualization (VMWare) experience and knowledge
• Cisco and Juniper router and switch experience
• Understanding of and / or experience with common networking environments (OSE), communication and routing protocols (BGP, OSFP etc.)
• IAT Level 3 Certification
• Active TS/SCI Polygraph Clearance Nice to Have: • Hands on experience with Riverbed products
• Cloud understanding / knowledge
