Location Aurora, CO Description Our client is currently seeking a Senior Network Engineer Direct hire Aurora, CO Description Network Engineer opportunity available for the GPS OCX program.
This position will perform network engineering tasks pertaining to detail design development, creating engineering design artifacts, hands on implementation and troubleshooting.
Tasks include designingimplementing switch, firewall, and router configurations.
Individual should possess knowledge and experience with network technologies, services, operations, and associated security practices.

Required Skills Those authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship are encouraged to apply.ship and DoD Secret Security Clearance 6 years of relevant experience directly related to network engineering design In-depth understanding of network technologies and associated services, management, and security practicestechniques Proven communicator with Leadership, Peers and Subordinates Familiarity and ability to read, understand, and implement configurations of Cisco ASA firewall experience with Contexts, filters, SSL VPN Cisco ISR Router experience with GRE and IP Sec tunnels as well as ACLs, OSPF, NATs, HSRP Cisco ACS RADIUS, RSA two-factor authentication Cisco LAN Core and Distribution switches, experience with ACL’s, routing, hardening Cisco Nexus experience with VPC Cognizant of network topologies as well as understand necessary configuration details Familiar with TCP, and secure protocols Experience with Data Center LAN design, Implementation, diagnostics, performance and management Desired Skills Knowledgeexperience with SAN implementations (iSCSI, Fiber Channel) Knowledgeexperience with VMware implementations Knowledgeexperience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Center for Internet Security (CIS) Benchmarks Network Certifications such as CCNP, CCNA Experience with Configuration Management Required Education (including Major) Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 6 years of related work experience.
