Senior Manager Marketing Automation

This is a Full-time position in Atlanta, GA posted December 27, 2021.

Hiscox is looking for an experienced marketer to lead our marketing automation team and serve as product owner for our automation platform. 

In this role, you’ll oversee the strategic and operational success of our marketing automation and email programs.

You’ll be responsible for administration, adoption and productivity of our platform and manage a team of email specialists to drive ROI and an exceptional consumer experience.

Along with expertise in leading data-driven campaigns, you’ll bring experience in email marketing and campaigns to support lead nurture, acquisition, and retention objectives.

This role will sit on our Growth Marketing team, reporting to the VP, Growth and Lifecycle Marketing.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A marketing automation specialist with hands-on experience working inside a marketing automation platform to develop and deliver campaigns across the customer lifecycle.
  • Experienced in email best practices including cadence, design, segmentation, and personalization.
  • An analytical marketer who enjoys data and can use it to spot trends, improve targeting, and optimize campaigns. 
  • A champion for our consumers who can incorporate insights and best practices to drive a delightful customer experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead team of email marketers and the strategic development of our email channel to drive organizational objectives.
  • Champion the consumer experience and adoption of marketing automation and email marketing best practices including targeting, personalization strategies and dynamic content.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop data-driven, segmented email marketing strategies including lead nurture, acquisition, onboarding, and renewals.
  • Develop and oversee execution of our email testing roadmap, including messaging, frequency and cadence, optimizing for deliverability and engagement.
  • Direct the end-to-end email production process including copy, creative, list segmentation, deployment and tracking.

    Identify areas to improve processes to drive efficiencies.

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on overall health of our email program.

    Be a key contributor in deep-dive analysis and Executive presentation of channel results.

  • Lead suppression and preference management strategy and execution, including CAN-SPAM compliancy and CCPA.
  • Own and manage marketing automation platform (Eloqua).

    Oversee data integrations identify and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

  • Responsible for data health and marketing performance, including: data hygiene, processes and optimization.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years’ of email marketing experience
  • Experience working within a marketing automation tool.

    We use Eloqua.

    If you have Eloqua experience, that’s great!

    If not, we’re happy to provide training.

  • Strong knowledge of CAN-SPAM and other privacy regulations.
  • Experience delivering campaigns across the customer lifecycle and working knowledge of the digital media landscape.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS preferred.
  • Working knowledge of CRM platforms.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.

    Must be able to adapt communication styles to audience and manage/prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Self-starter with a genuine ‘can-do’ attitude and a passion for delivering results.
