Senior IIoT .Net Software Engineer

Lehigh Technical

This is a Full-time position in La Mirada, CA posted March 3, 2022.

Job Description

  • Architect Industrial IoT solutions and troubleshoot and resolve technical problems to satisfy customer business needs
  • Provide technical feedback and leadership to other team members
  • Document key aspects of a project for the client and other team members
  • Contribute to our collective brainpower through innovation and peer review
  • Maintain morale by promoting and supporting open communication amongst team members, escalating issues when necessary
  • Work proactively to Client and understand client’s needs, communicating objectivity with both the Software Project Manager and the client to ensure the best possible outcome for the client
  • Gather and analyze material relevant to identify and define the technical requirements and strategies needed for successful completion of projects
  • Create or oversee the creation of project documentation (e.g., scope documents, test plans, deployment plans, milestones, and timelines)
  • Define and architect version control system
  • Provide timely technical consultation and communication to client and team throughout the project lifecycle
  • Review project code created by team members to ensure quality and completion in accordance with the scope of work
  • Assist in the planning and execution of project deployments, ensuring clients receive a smooth transition from the design/test phase to live websites or applications
  • Deliver training sessions to a client upon completion of a project, as needed
  • Work with management and senior leaders to resolve urgent project issues in a timely fashion
  • Establish good rapport as a technology subject matter expert
  • Provide training, mentoring, and guidance to less experienced development staff throughout the organization
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of tools, standards, and methodologies
  • Serve as a mentor to developers involved in cross-training
  • Assist as necessary with the execution of company initiatives as requested by senior management

EXPERIENCE:

  • BA/BS/MS in Computer Science, related discipline, or relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of software engineering experience in an enterprise-level mission-critical software development environment.
  • Strong relational database and SQL experience required.
  • C# with modern frameworks and libraries
  • .NET Core
  • net
  • MSSQL (PostgresSQL is plus)
  • Azure or AWS is plus
  • C++ is plus
  • Knowledge of Network service
  • Knowledge of IIS, Windows Active Directory
  • Proficient at Windows scripting
  • Broad knowledge of fundamental information security concepts.
  • Mechanical (Machine Tool is plus) industry exposure
  • College-level mathematics, including calculus and statistics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to grasp concepts quickly and generate creative solutions
  • Proven skills in managing difficult or emotional client solutions respond promptly to
  • customer needs and requests for service and assistance
  • Proven critical thinking skills to assist in setting a direction in ambiguous situations
  • Deep technical knowledge of principles and patterns and the capability to pass on that
  • knowledge via mentorship
  • Expert knowledge of modern version control systems
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Able to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Able to balance multiple responsibilities and work effectively/independently in a fast-paced environment with attention to details
  • Result-driven, deadline-driven, goal-oriented, highly motivated, take ownership and new challenges on an ongoing basis to meet department’s objectives.
