seeking a Senior Oracle Business Intelligence Developer to support a diverse, adaptable team providing technical, programmatic and change management support to VA mission-related functions.
This program will involve enhancement, integration, implementation, maintenance, modernization, and infrastructure support for ongoing operations of their enterprise data warehouse (EDW).
Additionally, program scope includes enhancement and maintenance of business intelligence and predictive analytics that are progressive with industry technology advancements.
The candidate will have ten years’ experience in ORACLE BI reporting products, especially OBIEE and data warehousing BI solutions.
The candidate will have cloud migration experience as it pertains to Oracle databases and BI Tools.
All activities will be coordinated within the user teams to assess risks, goals and needs and ensure that all are adequately addressed.
Sierra7 is a US Small Business Administration (SBA) and Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE)-verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOSB) who provides Federal clients system and technology integration, program management, business process optimization, and enterprise solutions.
Position Responsibilities:
• Proactive collaboration, communication, and interfacing with project stakeholders, including end users, business, VA organizations, vendors, and service partners
• Developing and designing data modeling concepts using OBIEE tools.
• Developing enterprise dashboards and reports using OBIEE Plus tools.
• Providing recommendations and identifying critical issues and processing faults to optimize BI products.
• Performing testing sessions for reports and dashboards and resolving process issues.Required Skills and Experience: The candidate will have ten years’ experience in ORACLE BI reporting products, especially OBIEE and data warehousing BI solutions.
The candidate will have cloud migration experience as it pertains to Oracle databases and BI Tools.
Additionally, the candidate skills and experience include:
• Installing, upgrading, and configuring business intelligence and OBIEE tools.
• Ability to work on complex data structures, dashboards, and ad hoc reporting.
• 10 years’ experience with Oracle BI reporting products, especially OBIEE and data warehousing solutions (preferred)
• Experience with Cloud migration as it pertains to Oracle databases and BI Tools
• Familiarity with cloud migration technologies
• Familiarity with dashboard development
• Familiarity with 508 regulations
• Experience working within a Human Centered design a plus
• Experience with Tableau, Cognos, and other BI tools a plus
• Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills
• Strong oral and written communication skillsQualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or equivalent (8 years of additional experience may be substituted for education)
• 8 years of relevant experience
• Oracle certifications
• Informatica experience
• ITIL certification a plus
• Experience working in VA or other Government agency (desired)
